Full Tours: Should Tailored Traveling receive payment for a sold out tour, the traveler will have the option to be placed on standby for the tour, have their payment returned or apply the deposit toward another tour.
Standby Reservations: Standby reservations are accepted and do not require a deposit. Should space become available, the traveler has the choice to join the tour by paying in full or forfeiting the space.
Tour Pick-up Locations: Businesses have generously allowed parking for your vehicle while you are on tour, but neither they nor Tailored Traveling are responsible for parked cars in these locations while you are on tour.
Itinerary Changes: Itineraries are subject to change. In the event of changes, comparable activies will be provided. If lower costs are the outcome of itinerary changes, refunds will be made at the conclusion of the tour.
Photos: Photographs and video taken by Tailored Traveling tour leaders and other Tailored Traveling representatives while on tour are the property of Tailored Traveling and may be used in promotional materials. Any traveler who does not wish to have their photograph or video footage used in promotional material must advise Tailored Traveling in writing prior to the trip departure date.
Canadian Travel: Traveling into Canada now requires that each traveler show a valid passport (must be valid for six months after your date of return) or an enhanced drivers license. Individuals that are not U.S. citizens may have a passport, visa, or valid alien card for entry into Canada and re-entry into the U.S.
Assumed Risk: Tailored Traveling will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of the traveler. However, travel has its own inherent risks and the traveler acknowledges such risks exist. The traveler agrees to hold Tailored Traveling harmless should illness, accident or death occur. Tailored Traveling will not be responsible for any extra costs or losses from any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by delayed or cancelled transportation services, changes of schedule, acts of God, strikes or other conditions beyond the control of Tailored Traveling.
Traveler Responsibilities and Information:
Cancellation by the Traveler: Cancellations must be received by phone or in writing prior to the final payment due date of the selected tour in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations received after the final payment due date, depending on the tour, may or may not receive a refund. Tailored Traveling will refund those monies which are recoverable. However; if you were sharing a hotel room and a replacement is not identified, you will be responsible for the difference of a single room rate.
Cancellation of Tours by Tailored Traveling: Although rare, Tailored Traveling has the right to cancel tours, either because there are not enough travelers to operate the tour or due to force majeure (natural disasters, or other "Acts of God", war, or other major events that are clearly out of Tailored Traveling's control). Tailored Traveling will make every effort to cancel tours as needed, in a timely fashion. However, Tailored Traveling reserves the right to cancel any tour at anytime up to the day of departure, due to no fault of Tailored Traveling.
